Overview
Medical acupuncture is a collection of diverse practices and principles. The Core Refresher is designed to be a stand-alone summary of the core principles with which a contemporary physician practicing medical acupuncture should be familiar. While the Medical Acupuncture Review Course does a deep dive into each of the core areas, the Core Refresher provides an interactive, hands-on broad strokes reminder/update utilizing clinical case presentations, as well as relevant point locations and their specific applications, to illustrate core principles.
Who should attend this Course?
This course is intended for physicians who have completed a formal training program in medical acupuncture of 300+ hours and/or those who have obtained equivalent training through other means and have one+ years of experience in the clinical use of medical acupuncture. It is designed to be a complement/supplement to the Medical Acupuncture Review Course to cement fundamental principles with concentration on point locations and applications. As a stand-alone course, it is also helpful to physicians who obtained their training some time ago and want/need to brush up on their understanding of the components and techniques of acupuncture.
